Summer is so boring. But I sure wouldn't rather go back to school...

Lately I've been trying, and I mean really trying to revive whatever little poetic skill I actually have. It's not working well. I've written 5 poems in the last week and none of them are any good. I just don't think I'm putting enough effort into it.

But eventually I will succeed!

I also need to take my camera out on the town. I haven't done any outdoor shots in forever.

Yup, just blabbering on.

I'm also trying to read more. I picked up some books the other day. Maybe that activity will help stimulate my verbal mind.

I'm taking a composition class this semester at college and I just finished my first (real) composition! I'm so excited! It's a relatively short and simple piece, but it took a lot of effort so I really understand what composers and musicians go through to write what we hear every day.

And my professor is happy with it, so I've confirmed that Composition is where I should take my university studies. I'd been nervous for some time that even though I want to compose, that I wouldn't have the talent or creativity for it, but that isn't an issue at all.

One step closer to my dreams coming true.

Hello all. I can't possibly thank all the people who have viewed my photos and given me favorites over the last month. I will try to get to that later, but in the mean time I just want to say thank you.

I have a lot to deal with right now, my father just died over the weekend. So I will reply to messages at a later date.

My new year will bring some new changes. I will most likely be moving out of my mother's house within the next two months. It all depends on whether I get the job I want. I will be moving into my best friend's house.

My other project this winter is to snap a whole lot of pictures of the farms and ranches and open desert in between my old town and my new one. It is being developed and destroyed by leaps and bounds, so before Wal-Mart completely moves in, I have to preserve what is still there. I took a lot of good frames today so I will be uploading them over the weekend.

Argh... I know I said I'd be making a comeback, but I have been hella busy lately. School, work...

...but the main reason is because I am now dating one of my friends. I'd been chasing her for weeks and finally got the courage to ask her out on Monday. <3

xD So........ I don't know about the whole "free time" thing. I'll try to get some new stuff up soon. To be quite honest there's probably some pictures on my memory card that I haven't even looked at yet. And the weather's getting nicer so I can finnaly take pictures outside without getting hyperthermia.

In other news, I am now 21. Gonna booze it up! lol!
